FINALLY got the chance to go to an escape room. A family friend got a Groupon for 7 of us to go to Enter the Enigma behind Wade’s Cafe. Hard to find the entrance to the place, but our host was super friendly and chill. The room was ranked a 5/10 difficulty and this was the first escape room for all but one of us. It was awesome. I don’t want to give away the company’s secrets and whatnot but I’d always wondered what kind of ‘clues’ there are and how hard they are. Some were pretty simple, some were definitely tricky, but we had some smart people in our group and we flew through it. Example: a clue about ‘seeing something without light’ and when turning off the light, you could see arrowheads in a display cabinet that were glow in the dark. They revealed a code to a combo lock to get to the next clue. So anyways, we got hung up on the last clue for probably 10 minutes, but we completed it in like 27min and the record was 18min. Still, I had a blast doing it and would definitely do another one.
